Single stage press recommendations: Hornady Iron Press or RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme

I don't really trust lock n load bushings, they all get sloppy over time.
How much time do you save over a lock ring? 7 seconds?

This echoes my sentiments perfectly.

If you're going to spend hours reloading ammo and you're concerned about the time it takes to thread in a die, you should probably seek professional help.

I use RCBS dies. The first thing I do is replace the brass set screw on the lock ring with a steel set screw, with a single #2 lead pellet between the threads of the die body and the set screw. Once it's been set it's rarely ever adjusted again anyway, but you won't damage the threads this way.

I love my RCBS Rock Chucker IV! It is build like a beast! I have been reloading 308 Winchester, 270 Winchester and 30-06 Springfield with it using Redding dies for two years now. With that said, I do like Hornady's Sure Loc lock rings. I have replaced all the original die lock rings with them. They will never damage the die threads and their grip is second to none.
