After just having my wrist operated on and my left hand ( I am a lefty) in a cast, I have realized a masive bonus to a semi- auto rifle/hand gun. It would be much easier and faster to get off multiple shots with the semi as compared to a bolt action . I think my sks would also be much easier to handle and reload with stripper clips and fire , the sling also would be of great use! This also could just be the after affects of the anaesthetic and pain killers;0)
