I have been looking at Turkish Sinsinati pump shotguns but haven't been able to get any specific feedback info regarding their reliability, quality, Canadian vendors, spare parts availability etc.
Can anyone supply some actual info ?
Thanks

There's a thread on the Sinisnati 12GA pumps on the Corwin-Arms dealer sub-forum:

I don't have one of the Sinsinati pumps, just one of the single shots.

Fit and finish are well above average for a Turkish shotgun. Really nice wood, very smooth action and quite a decent trigger (which is almost a shocking thing for a Turkish shotgun). It's a single shot ejector, and the ejector is very positive and reliable with the ammo I've run. It should be noted that some people have had issues with Winchester White Box getting stuck, and I 100% believe them. If for no other reason that I've had Winchester White Box jam up in just about any shotgun I've used it in (I won't buy it at all anymore).

These aren't "heirloom" guns. They're good, reliable, working man shotguns at a working man price, with fit and finish above anything else in the same price bracket. Far better than the Norinco single shots, which are horrible, and cost as much. (By the same token, I do really like my Norinco 870 shorty clone, which has been perfectly reliable and a solid performer.)

I'm not 100% sure that "Sinsinati" is an actual manufacturer. In fact, I'm pretty sure it isn't. The shotgun manufacturing scene in Turkey is a bit convoluted, with lots of manufacturers, and a variety of different brands and importers. Any given brand of shotgun will contract different manufacturing facilities to make different guns.

My experience with Turkish guns can be summed up fairly simply: Buy them from a dealer you trust, who you know will stand behind what they sell.

Dr.Islay really nailed it on the head here. Martin at Corwin-Arms is, currently, the man, when it comes to Turkish guns. He stands behind what he sells, and he buys factory direct (instead of going through a separate importer and distributor), which eliminates a couple layers of markups. That means he can offer these guns for less $$ than his competition. Quite often significantly less.

I've dealt with Martin numerous times over the past 3 years (I dunno, somewhere around a dozen or so different guns, everything from surplus Red Rifles, to single shot, pump, and semi auto shotguns, and even a really nice Zastava Full Stock rifle when he was still carrying those.) Not every gun has been perfect. But when there have been issues, Martin dealt with it with stunning speed and no rigamarole. He either sent a replacement part (a retention pin that sheered on one gun, and a butt-stock on another - for free, even when I freely admitted I'd f@cked it up due to my own stupidity, and he didn't even make me pay for shipping), or an entire new gun when I bought a single shot that was getting light strikes.

You'll find there are a lot of people in the same boat as me. Martin keeps ending up with our money, because he really is that good to deal with.

I bought a 20ga, 18.5", pump recently used it turkey hunting worked like a charm. Worked so well I had to buy another LOL. They work as intended and the fit and finish are acceptable if not above average for a Turkish, new gun, shipped to your door. My limited dealing with Corwin have been great and I unfortunately have my eye on yet another of his products but the wife is on to me. For a budget minded gun they fit the bill and work as intended and the support is there if a problem arises.

I own a 20 ga. Great gun with quality finish and excellent performance. (front site has since been replaced with a shorter one from Martin)

Gotta be able to feed her too!
