Sizing down to 410 musket

Very easy to use 303 British. I have expanders made up that I use. I load it with 41 cal pistol bullets with a load of black powder to fire form.

So you are wanting to know what shotgun primers have a soft cup?

If your gun cannot fire a 209 primer then maybe you need to look at the protrusion of that firing pin, get that fixed first.

I only happen to have magnum 209... What softness are the regular comparable to? Are different brands different in this regard. I have done only limited shotshell reloading up till now...

I think you need to look at how your firing pin is hitting the primers, something is not right, I do not expect magnum primers to be any harder than regular for a 209, they should be easy to set off.
