Apparently SK makes only two different loads of 40 grain round nose lead ammo. One is factory rated at 1073 fps and the other is rated at 1106 fps (all individual MVs will vary, of course). This is what is revealed by Geoff Esterline, who is the director of marketing for Capstone Precision Group, which is responsible for SK’s marketing south of the border.
In Esterline's words:
Each production run is sorted by quality, measured through accuracy and group size at 50 meters from their lot acceptance testing tunnel with a return-to-battery-style test fixture. The best-shooting 1,073-fps ammunition is packaged into SK Rifle Match. And it’s equivalent in the 1,106 fps variant is the new SK Long Range Match.
These are the two best performers. From there, you work down. Second-best quality for 1,073 fps is SK Standard Plus, then Pistol Match and lastly Magazine. Second-best quality for 1,106 fps is Biathlon Sport, then Pistol Match Special.

This accounts for seven varieties of SK .22LR ammunition. The SK Flatnose Match and SK Flatnose Target are not included in the above explanation because they use a 40 grain flatnose rather than a 40 grain round nose bullet. Perhaps only the bullet itself distinguishes this ammo from SK Rifle Match and SK Standard Plus.
It's not clear where the new SK Semi-Auto Rifle ammo, due to be released in the spring of this year, fits in the SK ammo-making model. It is a 40 grain ammo with a factory rated MV of 1132 fps. For more details on this new ammo, see h t t p://www.sk-ammunition.com/en/products/semi-auto-rifle.html
