Well that, and the price.

So only slightly faster than typical match ammo, same bullet weight. Going to assume same BC.

Yup! Even the most expensive .22 ammo is still around $.50 per round. Once you move to center fire, just the projectiles will run you more than that.

So now that everyone is excited and cannot wait, there is something to try in the meanwhile. Lot of my guys have been having really good results with Sk Biathlon Sport. The guys running and participating in CRPRS, are always looking for something that works well beyond 100yrds and on top of that, something that will work in the cold. It is bit of a hidden gem in my opinion that is priced like SK Rilfe Match, but little more speed to allow for better groups on ranges beyond traditional .22 expectations. The proof is in the pudding, the winner of the inaugural CRPRS season was using Sk Biathon Sport

Sk Long Range will be select ammo, so it will be similar relationship as say Midas+ is to Center X or Eley Tenex to Eley Match.
The added benefit would be that it should shoot well across cold temperature range plus hold groups better.
Can't wait to see the test results once we get it on. Lots of guys are super stoked to get it through their rifles.
 
Just watched a guy on youtube testing a new CZ rifle with Eley , Federal Gold and SK . 5 shot groups at 50 yards . The SK did quarter inch 5 shot group then Eley and then Federal .
