skateboard grip tape removal?

hi there what would you use to remove skateboard grip tape on a glock??will it leave a trace??

Sometimes goo gone itself doesn't work. I have had success by first heating the area to be un-gooed with a blow dryer then appling the goo gone while the area is still warm.

WD-40 will remove the gummy stuff as well.

I've had Skateboard tape on a number of guns -- its easily removed.
any commercial cleaner/solvent will wipe away the gummy residue.
