Skeet Case

Hey

I have recently purchased a skeet gun and will soon be getting it tubed. First I need to purchase a hard case for it and the tubes. I looked at the Americase selection - it is very nice stuff, however I am in enough trouble at home for spending on the gun and am looking for a little cheaper alternative. Any suggestions?

For now why not use a cheap soft case and a choke tube box? Can be had for under 50 bucks,
I have been using these for some time now with out any problems and if you've ever seen the back of my jeep..... :eek::eek::redface: lets just say that it does a pretty good job, the plan was to build myself a nice take down case out of S.S. but that ended up getting tossed on the back burner (skeet shooting is interfering with my building and making stuff time:redface:)

Yup, Uncle mikes has a great little take down SOFT case for $50!
use that for your gun, and get yourself a small gym style bad for your ammo, gloves, chokes, glasses, towel, boresnake/lube, blah, blah - get the idea?:D
You are going to aquire a PILE of stuff along the way, and a good bag is essential as well as a gun case!:)
it doesn't have to be fancy, just heavy duty!

I preusme "tubes" refers to sub-gauge tubes.

If this is in fact the case, the SKB is about the cheapest. Briley makes an extrusion moulded one also.

As a student I used a cheap plastic rifle case for the tubes for a number of years, then upgraded. With the cost of the tubes you sure wouldn't want to bend them.
 
Sorry, should have been little more specific - I ment sub-gauge tubes. The SKB's look like a good deal. Thanks for the replys.
 
I have a americase with extruded tube set storage in the top half. The case has a few scratches. It's for 30" barrels. Blue interior originally 695 plus taxes. If you are interested you can have it for 450 plus shipping unless you can pick up, which would be better it's heavy. It's two years old 1 combination lock 2 key locks
