Sad days are upon us when deactivated FAL’s sell for more that live ones. We used to take our old Ishapores, etc., to a range and blast away. They weren’t evil restricted then. We took our converted FAL’s to the same range and blasted away. Now they have magically turned evil - poof!!! - just like that.

I’m not altogether sure how good a mood I’ll be in when the knock on the door happens, and some poor cop tells me he/she/it is here to collect my guns.

I loved mine to bits, and had it for just three years before the government took it away after a mass-murder in Hungerford in which a semi-auto centrefire rifle was used.

Everybody who legally owned a centrefire rifle or carbine had to hand it in, in return for a fixed sum of £150 - no matter what the gun had cost.
