Getting old sucks. I just bought one of the 12" Chiappa Ridge Runners in 45-70 from a CNGer tje other day. It is a cool piece of kit, but I am having problems with the sights. I have other rifles with peep sights but these ones are not coming in clear for me with or without my glasses.
It comes with the Skinner peep sights, but the longer barreled ones have a Skinner peep sight with a Picatinny rail built in. Does anyone know where to get one? I have been looking and they do not seem to be readily available.
