SKS’s breeding like bunnies at my house

I'm not saying they are all duds Dsiwy. Just why not spend some time shooting the rifles to see what you have before selling. Does that make any sense?

The last thing I wanted to do is offend your rifles. :)

have you ever been sold a bad SKS? you would have better luck winning the lotto then getting a SKS that would not fire lol. If you were sold a dud just return it "most CGN are fair people"

No offence taken lol, just never ran into the problem

Good point Dsiwy, I'm still looking for one that shoots around corners. I know its out there. :D

those stocks all look like they were stripped of the usual crummy finish the Russians dipped or sprayed on them when rebuilding them. I also noticed quite a few laminated stock photos that guys posted where the laminated stocks look beautifull with a really nice coat of finish to enhance the laminated wood. The ones we get here all have a cheap coat of lacqure on them. I do not touch my Military guns I leave them as I get them I just clean them up as you would normally I do not sand or refinish them. (just a collector thing with me ) The Russian laminated sure does look great when finished for the grain to show . The stocks above are all hardwood examples and even those look awesome in the photos. The stuff we got in the States the finish usually is flaking off

How much the price in US for SKS?

Is there any sort of contraceptive one can give their SKS’s? Do you spay or neuter an SKS?
You see my problem is I bought one of these little puppies and it seemed lonely so I bought it a stable mate. Next thing I know I have 4 of the accursed things. This is all fine and good but I’m and Enfield collector and what am I going to do with 4 SKS’s? I wish my Enfield collection was as cheep to bread as these things.
From top 55/56 non-refurb bright bolt, 55/56 matching refurb bright bolt, 1951 Matching black bolt refurb with replacement laminate stock on it’s first rifle and a 1950 black bolt refurb with many early features including a long tab top cover release.

In all seriousness though the top two are more than enough so I think I’m going to sell the bottom two.

I know what you mean......My little family is getting biggers. From top:
Tula 1955/56
Tula refurb 1949(new one in the family)
Tula unissued 1953(mag is pinned on follower arm)
Chinese type56

I have 2 Russkies ('55 Tula non refurb and a laminated '50 Tula refurbed) and I told myself I'm gonna stop there with the SKS. Now, however, I see that Tradex has UNISSUED "Factory 306" ChiCom versions for only $189....:jerkit:

Well it’s funny how things go. I ended up selling all of the ones in the photo to family, friends and on the EE. I now have two totally different ones thanks to Woodbeef. I actually had all 6 in the house and meant to take another updated family photo before they moved on but never got around to it. It’s funny where the winds of collecting will take you. I wonder what will happen to the value of my un-issued laminate 55/56 Tula IZH imported example when Marstars rifles hit the market? Not that it will ever be for sale.
