SkS 7.62X39mm for hunting

Rifles generally make poor hunting shotguns. Especially the SKS.

Its good for deer a bit past 100 yards. those who say its good for longer distances spend a lot of time looking for their deer after they shoot it. Each to their own, but I like mine to fall over on the spot after only one shot. I don't waste my time looking for other peoples deer who don't know or understand the limitations and effectiveness of the bullet. That said, 7.62x39 is good for deer up to 100 yards or so. Its very accurate in some guns, but looses energy dramatically after that.
