SKS/ AK47 hybrid project, part 2

I'm thinking about it. I was tossing around the idea of Krinking the gasblock, cutting the barrel to 18.5" and putting on a fake suppressor. Might as well throw more money at it.

Or I could just Krink it, not like it's registered.

I've had the same idea cross my mind several times, I'm just not sure about the gas port hole size...

Also, since it was bumped, a little update. The project is on hold waiting for parts. I should have them in early Feb.

It's close to being done. Again, on hold due to the new job, the move, and the lack of facilities to work on anything.

Not legally without building a new receiver, as far as I can tell.
