You certainly don't want to use LAR-15 STANAG 10 rounds magazine in an SKS, you will have no gain compared to the integrated magazine.

XCR 10-rounds magazine is a different story.

Did you try to fit 10 rounds 7.62x39 in a magazine designed for 10 rounds of 5.56x45 ? I save you the time to try, it does not fit.

As I mentioned, XCR magazine are different than LAR-15 magazine.

He is using XCR pistol magazine, not LAR-15 magazine, he just got confused with the name as many are
