SKS as US Army Backup Rifle...

Colin: "I bet he calls an M113 APC a "Gavin" as well."
Come on Colin!
You watched his videos, that's cheating!!
I realized last night after watching more of his vids that I read an entire website worth of rattle about re-instating the M113 "Gavin"s about a month ago.
Not al of what that particular site was arguing is crazy talk, and so I have to wonder who is this guy, really!
The intrigue grows deeper!

Well those guys that stormed the beaches on D day have no idea what a fighting man would need. This guy is obviously a "military advisor" who had to get his vocal cord changed to that of a little girl for deniability purpose if captured. I would keep my yap shut if I were you guys, who knows if he took that $20 invisible course that someone posted few days ago.

Found it!!!
I really don't know, is our Dy-n-mic-para responsible for all of this?!!

Dyanamic Para, AKA “Sparky” proper name Mike Sparks, founder of “COMBAT REFORM STUDY GROUP”

Personal crusade to have the M113 named the Gavin after his hero.

Sees the Styker and any wheeled armour as the spawn of Satan.

Hates the Marine Corp with a passion, likely due to their dumping him

Apparently a 2nd Lt Reserve in some support role. Has been kicked from almost every military forum on the internet, a rare achievement in itself.

You are a nobody until you have been personally messaged by himself to inform you that you are indeed a “FU*KTARD” I have been graced by word myself. Best done by posting on his Youtube account under DP and tell them that there is no such thing as a Gavin and that Stykers are pretty decent.

:D;)

My gf said, is he one of those crazie airsofter nuts, that like live in there mothers basement with a bunch of plastic toy guns all techno-tacticaled up, and that are finaly alowed to poses real guns be cause there mother said "I guess so" because she didnt want to hear it from the kid complaining any more.
And one other thing, what about all of that ammo that isnt exactly on stripperclips, ya we have them here in N-america, but some times its just a box of bullets. I see some of his breakdowns on times as for reloading, what about without the use of the stripper clips.

Weeeee! LET'S GO! Colin has given the ammo.....game on:D!.....AH SH1T!.....I don't have a pistol grip,no matter how great the ammo my groupings are bound to suck:D..You guys go ahead and report back O.K.!? I'm going to the basement to whittle a grip for my cooey 75 as well:D

always thought 7.62 NATO was 7.62x51 in his world it is 7.62x39
would hate to fire a .311 bullet out of a .308 barrel
how he figures shooting russian surplus out of an M1 is safe i will never know but he was right about the fact it is 25-50 % cheaper however your medical bills would more than eat up that savings

Ya, this guy doesn't strike me as the type of guy that actually knows anything about firearms, apart from what he's learned on Call of Duty. Which of course means you can run around all day with two full sized rifles, hundreds of rounds of ammunition for both, and both will work flawlessly without jams or issues all day, and you can pick up ammo quickly and directly into magazines by running over the body of the guy you just killed, lol.

Not only is it clear he has no real operational experience, I doubt he has actually spoken to and listened to a person with operational experience. Heck, I don't even think he's played airsoft with the stuff he comes up with. I've gone around in airsoft with two full sized airsoft guns, and that ain't easy. I can't imagine doing it with two real rifles, plus ammunition, and plus the insane amount of gear they regularly carry.

Ya know, ya could smack this doofus upside the head with a 2x4 or baseball bat.

There's only 2 problems with that

1) All you'd hear is a ringing sound from his empty head, and....

2) You'd do more damage to the wood than to him!!!:p

My AR has never made "the dreaded click" before the bolt locks to the rear, is something wrong with it???

I was thinking the same thing. Been quite a few years since I had my hands on an AR style weapon, but from what I remember of my C-7, the bolt stayed to the back when you were out of ammo. I could have swore when the bolt was forward, and it didnt go bang, that meant there was a mis-fire.....

Course, I am getting older, and my memory could be fading, cause well, I was a resrvist for a couple of years, and didnt have 28 yrs experience in the military... Maybe the guns started to behave differently after 2-3 years in...

Saw this before...BIG face-palm!!! This kid plays too many video games and thinks you can carry lots of full sized guns no problem.

Don't you have a Tomb Raider Back Pack? They use magic to shrink even the largest .50BMG Rifle down to Back Pack Size, and the mass of pad of paper. You still have room for your Shot Gun, AR, and a couple of 1911s or DAs.

I thought these and Spartan Power Armor were standard issue to all modern Military Forces f:P:
