Hi all, I'm new to the forum, so I hope this hasn't been discussed before, but I tried searching and came up empty...
I wanted to give my Chinese SKS a good cleaning and inspection, as it has been in storage while I've been overseas... while trying to detail strip the bolt I has a very, very hard time trying to removing the short pin that holds in the firing pin and extractor. I had to use a punch and a hammer to get it out, even with a liberal application of CLP. Once it was out is did not seem rusted or corroded, but it was just as tight going back in...
Is this normal? Any recommened solutions??
Thanks,
Mike
