I was checking the barrel on my SKS lastnight and about half way down there looks to be a line, maybe 1/8" or so that goes horizontal, cant really tell what it is because if you move your head a little it kind of disappears. Im wondering if the chrome is cracked. Ive only shot maybe 60 rounds from it, it was an unfired refurb when I got it six months ago. Any ideas, or should I just take it to a gunsmithl. Also, where can a guy pick up a new barrel if need be.
