Sks cover mount fix?

My search skills must really suck because I can't seem to find the thread with the cover mount fix (the one where you tap the latch pin hole). Anyone have a link? Many thanks.

I don't have a link, but I just put "latch pin hole" into the search field just to see what you're talking about.

On the sksboards site I did a search for 'dust cover mount' and it came right up.
I guess I'm just not using the right search terms here....hmmmm

Somewhere on this site is a great pic and write up on the same fix as the other site. I prefer getting my info here but searching is not giving me any results.

Advanced search.
In "Find posts from" the default value is "a week ago" i think.
make it a year ago and it should bring you results.

Yep, that's it. did mine and have had the cover on and off a dozen times. No need to re-zero.

Can't find any pics but was easy easy to do
