Took me about two to four hours to make the stock fit nice and tight. The finish on it is amazing.

That is possibly the most serious SKS I have ever viewed. Beautiful wood, and extremely skilled....etsy eh....who would have thought.

So, what put that ring in your barrel?
Bad ammo (a squib) got stuck and you fired another round, I presume?
(Also, was the squib a bad handload with just the primer and no powder or surplus ammo?)
There was a laser down the barrel to aid me in adjusting my scope, I forgot it inside of the barrel...shot a round.
Damn... that sucks. Have you tested accuracy with the ring? Maybe it's not affected too much.

I’ll take it out to the range one more time to test the accuracy at 25, 50, 100, 150 yards
Worst case I’m going to counter drill the barrel just past the ring and add a muzzel brake. I don’t want to throw this rifle out.
