SKS-D - 5 round AK mags?

I am trying to find some 5 round AK-47 mags for my SKS-D.

I tried sksman and was unsuccessful. They have 5 rounders - but they are for bulgarian SKS's.

Anyone have any ideas?

I already bought one and the thing is a small piece of junk (reminds me of a norinco mag) and gave me ftf.

I've got 4 "made in china" ones and NEVER had ANY problems. Try Lever Arms in Vancouver. They've got lots but its "made in china".

The SKS-D is a NORC and 5rd NORC mags work with no problems. Where did you get your 5rd?

all my chinese mags and unmarked (euro mfg.?) feed perfect in mine. Your feed lips may need a bit of tweaking

I have box's of them from back when the D's came in investor pack's
They are actually 10 rnd mags with 5 rnd followers

I got it separate from rifle. A friend.

Maybe I'll give the norc another whirl.

I find the 5rd norcs to be a little bit of a pain to put in the rifles,to short to hold properly,for me at least.10 rds a little easier but I had to massage the rear mag catch and the front of the mags a bit.The 30 rd AK pinned to five (metal) fit like a dream.The 30 rd plastic (bulgarian) will fit one but not the other.
