Hi all,
I recently purchased an SKS-d. I know that the bolt does not hold open on an empty AK mag. However, I have heard it is easier to insert and remove the mags with the bolt locked back. How does one engage the bolt-hold-open device on the SKS. On my "normal" SKS, the mag follower holds it open.
I am intrigued as to how this is achieved on and SKS-D. I know it is possible as I have seen it in You-Tube videos.
Any info will be appreciated.
