SKS-D mag question

I noticed a slight difference in these two pics though...the mag I received doesn't have as much of a "lip" or whatever this part is called. It seems bigger in the official pic. I am not sure what to make of that. Any ideas?

Might just be an artifact of shadow on the other photo. Does yours show any grinding/bare metal at the front lug?
I am embarrassed to say I have no idea what that would look like, but it has faint vertical stripes on it which you can see in this picture.
Dang I am having fun with this cell phone camera! I also should say that it IS a 10 rnd magazine, I can see a rivet thingy where it has been pinned to five. It fits five 7.62x39 rounds. But anyway, just wanted to add that I was wrong that it isn't a 10 rnd, because it is.
(Are my Norinco 5nd sks-d mags 10's that are pinned to 5? )
I am not sure of the etiquette in this situation. But for people who really want to know, if you check my trader ratings and comments (I only have 4) I am sure you can figure it out.
What I am curious about is who is the person who sold it to him, that musta been a mistake they would regret if they knew!
This is a snippet from seller that explains how it came to him:
"I bought it from an SKS-D and AK owner who is also a CGN member here with a seller ranking almost eight times higher than me. I tested it on my own SKS-D. I only sold it because I got this one on a batch purchase of magazines from another seller and I was only interested in the 5/30 magazines for my SKS-D."
and
"I can only go by what I was told sign unseen when I bought it initially from another reputable CGN'er and how it fit into my SKS-D."
I hope I haven't crossed any lines by posting parts of 2 of his pm's to me in response to me telling him it was not the right mag. He said some REALLY assinine things to me but I don't want to do the wrong thing by posting them. Though to be honest they are so ridiculous I wish I COULD post them!
I hope he isn't going to still make an insurance claim to Canada Post for "damaging" an sks-d mag into a Cz 52/57 mag. He was going to do that as the only possible way I would get any refund for a return. I better pm him and say not to bother for my sake. I accept his adamant refusal now!
Well I think I am going to call Canada Post and tell them tracking number and that no insurance claim is needed. (Yes I am mean to dishonest people, who are MUCH better off just staying away from me.) I just can't stand scams.
If I am wrong and this mag really COULD have fit his sks-d then I will apologise and eat crow. (I was wrong about it not being a 10 rnd so I keep an open mind on these things.)

I almost bought that very mag but passed. Got a bad vibe I guess. Dont worry about it, happens sometimes.
