SKS-D model question

Heya fellas,

I have a chinese SKS-D and because I love the hell out of that gun, I want another one. However, I am not finding any more of this model.

Dont get me wrong, I love the collector quality of the Russian, Yugo, and Czech ones that are around right now. But the detachable magazine (despite its occasional feeding issues) is just awesome.

On a related note, I would presume that most of the upper parts would be interchangable between the different models, for maintenance reasons etc, yes?

if norinco and importer can make a buck they would do it but unfortunately we dont love it enuff to do a large run.

i use to collect "D" .

then you sold yours too cheaply .

typically prices for "D" without the bayo sells for $400-425 and with the bayo sells for $450-475 , upper end is in excellent condition .

they can come with one 5 rds mags and one 30 rds mag , deduct or add $40 for 30 rds mag and $20 for the 5 rds .

so the above ad you add $80 for the extra mags, $10 for the vented HG and $35 for ship.
 
yep got it years ago, shipped up here from the States, Kengs Firearms supplies. It even had a bolt hold open on the follower
