Hi all, I bought a used SKS-D with a Ram-Line folder (I think it's a Ram-line?) I took the rifle apart and cleaned it, then when I put it back together I noticed the rear of the action now fits loose in the stock. It moves up and down by 1/8" (with the trigger mech, too). It was not like that before I took it apart:rolleyes: This is my first SKS rifle, so I'm learning as I go here. Thanks.

Do you have any pics? You could also bed it if you find you need to. The best option is probably to get a better stock.

Mine does the same thing in an ATI folding stock. I never found to affect much of anything considering my shooting skills and the inherent accuracy of the rifle itself.

Thanks, there's room for a spacer inbetween the rear part of the reciever and the stock. I could put a piece of 1/8" metal there, but I'm thinking I should not have too. That stock should fit snug all on it's own. Plus, if I space it, it might cause a bad fit between the reciever and the trigger mech? I can't post any pics, sorry. When I get a chance, I'll try to contact Ram-Line and see what they have to say.
