I'm new to this rifle. I bought a Russian version of a SKS with the flat type baynnet. What model of a SKS is a "D" model. Thanks in advance for any replies......

Chinese made SKS that takes/uses removable AK magazines. No hold open on last shot. Some came with bayonets some didn't. Also you would be better off asking this question in the Red Rifle section as that is where the majority of the SKS info is on this site.

Nope, early 2000's. Local grain elevator agent brought them in by the crate full. Everyone around here has one and doesn't what they are.
