Sks-D

I traded a SKS-D for a 10/22, about 15 years ago and never looked back. I would definitly go with an 858 over an sks-d.

I'm one of those weird guys that really like the SKS series and has a few different versions. A D would go well just cuz, for the right price. Then again a 858 is on the list as well.

I have an sks-d all matching, only has 20 non corrosive rounds on it, pretty much as new as one can get. Looks and feels a lot closer to an ak than that toy 858. Is it just me or was the 858 designed for very petit women?

pot, kettle? Red rifles in general are very short stocked.

Is this rifle worth the money versus a cz-858? Which is most cost effective? and what is a reasonable price for a used/new sks-D? I'm unsure of which to get. Does the sks-D have problems with ak47 magazines as a normal sks has with crapco mags?

i like the "D" but i also liked the CZ858, fortunately , i have over a dozen rifles so im not forced to choose .

the "D" sells for $425 that came with the non-bayo stud and $475 with the bayo , they came with one 30 rd mag.

my 3 "d" had no issue with the AK mags , they all worked flawlessly .

Hmm, so far its about a 60-40 split for cz 858. I'm leaning towards that side as of now, anyone want to convince me otherwise? Anything either of them have for downfalls ?
