I have a pinned and welded mags. I like the pinned more as it's not that butchered. If the day/legislation ever comes I can remove the pin to use the full magazine.

the first shipment of IZH has long dried up , according to rumour the second shipment will have a plug welded to the bottom of mag .



actually there is another method , the chinese way. they drill a tiny hole on the mag floor just below the follower and place thin solid rod, held in by the flaring of the rod on the outside , quite small and not bad looking. this method is what i heard an importer tried to get the russian to do without success. we shall see how marstars chinese SKS are pinned when they arrive .
