Have 2 that I got at a gun show in Yorkton, guy selling was from Canadian paintball in Winnipeg, had to modify the front underlug on the duck bill to fit.
Work flawlessly with over 800 rounds thru.
By the way you don't have to take them out to reload, stripper clip feeds fine if you hold the bolt back slightly.
Price was $60 a piece at the gunshow.

The mags that you purchased, were they limited to 5 rounds with a pop rivet in the side of the mag or something different. Some of us are trying to find out how the mags are pinned that are sold by Fabsport.
I am conceding these Tapco magazines are lanced not pinned. This means the follower may be the length of the magazine minus enough room for five rounds. This is just another way of having compliant magazines for Canadian law, although it's not the most popular method used, which is why a very small portion of the dealer market has magazines made this way for Canada.
Actually not for the reason you may think. Pinned mags operate exactly the same way as a mag without a pin do other than stopping the follower from going down to the bottom. Mags with "followers in them not designed as the original follower was designed for it" don't operate the way mag was originally designed to operate. For some people this is an issue. If you look at 10 different dealers that sell magazines, one or two sell mags with longer followers, and I am sure they have their reasons.
Handgun mags like Glock 17 mags that are "California ready" are 10 rounds. That 9th and 10th round is a thumb buster, which is why 17 round mags "pinned to ten" are easier to load and are popular to sell and use.

Yes but since your magazine is married to the receiver, any other magazine may require slight fitting or "no fitting at all." We have sold over 1000 of these magazines with zero complaints. However some people (not my customers) have complained that they don't like them they can return them. That is of no concern for me because I know they will always sell to someone else.
Remember these are not AR mags for example where every single lower made has a mag well exactly the same as the other, and also consider the fact an SKS doesn't have a "mag well," it has a cut in the stock where a mag is attached to the receiver. (the mag can be in the receiver without the stock)
