There was this guy once with this cool gun.:dancingbanana: His empty shells were hitting me in the head.:owned: It was annoying and I asked him to move away from me.:kickInTheNuts: Then I bought this cool gun.:dancingbanana: I was so focused on shooting I didn't notice my shells were hitting this old guy in the head.

anyone else have this problem?

to the right. about 75-80 degrees. All the seats are lined up in a row, but if i aim at the right hand side of the 50yard berm the shells land on the tables to my right. :(

About the same as my russkies and they are thrown far as well. Come to think of it, we do not have your problem because we have screens separating shooting lanes/tables.

Perhaps your club can install the same.

yeah. me and a friend had this problem.

the solution?

close a gun case on a piece of cardboard box while still sticking out of the gun case and set the gun case upright to your right side. It should stand 1.5-2 ft. off the table.

If done properly, you have to lift your head to see buddy to your right.

all the shells will hit the case and fall down beside you. useful for picking up the cases later to reload them.

This seems to work with my buddies' m14s but i'm not sure if the sks ejects rounds more upwardly.

That is odd, my SKS shells eject out in front of me about 20 degrees to the right. It's a Russian. I don't know if ammo would make a difference but I am using milsurp.

I've got one of these but haven't tried installing it yet because it prevents the use of stripper/factory fixed mag. A detachable mag must be installed if you want to load quickly. Slipping round after round into the fixed mag would take an eternity.

Edit: To answer your question, mine ejects from 12 o'clock to 2 o'clock and slightly forward. Always seems to vary and hits the roof often.

That has the feel of an odd haiku . . .
