SKS extended mag release?

I prefer steel, as do many here I think.

Even though the cost will be higher than a plastic part it is still quite affordable for anyone who can afford shooting sports as a hobby. Those that have a plastic one installed will have an easy time putting one of these in their rifle and will benefit from its easier reach and compatibilty with the rifle metal.

I suspect a great many plastic Tapco models will show up on the EE soon, so if "cheap" is what you want just wait a little ...

I should know my exact pricing by the end of the week but I am aiming at a retail price between $40 and $50 ... with a bit of luck I may be able to get it just under $40.

I for one am interested....

Sorry guys, but due to work I no longer have time to make them. They are also custom fitted to each fcg which vary drastically. The back side is contoured exactly to the curvature of the fcg housing etc. My customers were required to send me their fgc for this to be done, and shipping a fcg across the border is a bog no-no.

I have the sevensixtwo systems mag release adapted kit and it functions flawlessly , took like 5 min to install and there was no mods needed to my gun. and doing the duckbill less mods to my mags was easy as well now I have rock and lock mags with a ak style mag release similar to a sks-d but just using all my existing tapco mags. might use her in the next local 3 gun and show up some of those ar boys lol.

^ Those are the best mag releases hands down. At first they wanted like $180 bucks for them which was stupid. But now they are fairly priced at $69. I personally just welded one up out of scrap metal costing me $0 lol.

I have the Tapco extended mag catch. Plastic? Yes.. Durable? Yes.. Install? Easy.

I honestly don't think you'd have a problem either way, but the Tapco one is $20 cheaper and I don't foresee any issues with mine.
