SKS firing pin retainer

Just make a new one. Not that hard, it's just made to hold the firing pin from falling out, it's not under and stress.
A piece of round stock of the right size, held in a vice, leaving about a 1/4 standing out, heat red hot, hammer flat, and shape to fit the squares hole ( not quite square hole ), to hold your ejector in place.
Sounds not....that...hard.... :)

Probably is a large trap under the concrete floor but you can put one in to be sure, if it goes into your main stack going upstairs the venting will likely be ok but if it sucks the water out of the new trap then you will need to vent the drain! The magnet idea is good for a try for sure! The sludge in the old pipe may have held the heavy pin within a foot or two of the horizontal part so don't push the magnet to far before pulling it out and checking !

Kennymo is right on track. I'm a plumber too, do 't run any more water down the sink. Post some pics and we can advise better.
Remember,if you call a plumber our rule is we get to keep anything we find in the pipes! That being said, my collection of 12 years amounts to f all.
