My buddy bought an SKS and the last round is always jamming, I've taken a look at it and I think the follower is the cause.

It looks like when they pinned it they crimped the metal to tight and the piece of the follower which the rounds sit on doesn't move. Causing the nose of the last round to be pointed slightly downwards, and when the bolt tries to go forward it presses the nose of the round up against the front edge of the mag.

Anyone else come across this? He bought it at a Canadian Tire and when we went back to check, all the SKS's they have are like this. The only thing I can think of is to dremmel the 5 round pin off and put a new one in.
