SKS front sight markings?

I was reading on another sight that Russian SKSs were graded by their accuracy from #1 (good) to #3, and this number was stamped on the front sight. I just checked mine, and the only thing I can find stamped anywhere near the front sight is right on the front of the sight base (right above the muzzle) is what appears to be 14. I'm hoping mine wasn't so terribly inaccurate that they extended the scale that far

Would that be the number I'm looking for, or am I looking in the wrong place?

The sight number theory hasn't been proven, nor disproven. No one really knows what the numbers are all about.

I have several Russians, they all have multiple markings. Could mean a number of things, or interpreted as a number of things.

I have a '51 Tula marked with a 2 and a '53 Tula marked with a 1 and the '51 outshoots the '53 at both 1 and 200yds. Go figure?
