SKS grease

Crappy Tire sells moly grease. About $6.00 a tube for a lifetime supply for you and every gun owner you know.

I filled a plastic 35mm film can with some (about 3 teaspoons worth) and it sits on my bench. For my field kit, I filled a glue stick tube. This is an excellent dispenser for the grease.

A handy thing to know: If you everyfind yourself with ammo that is too hot for the gun, wipe the exposed bullet shank with some grease. This drops pressure about 5,000 psi and can save the day.

Crappy Tire also sells a spray can of white lithium grease. This can be handy, too.

Why grease "is oil not working" hell its a SKS, fire it dry!

that will work. :D

but i like to put a wee bit of lub but oil spill in my range bag and grease dont .

like granderite i have grease in a 35mm film container .

I used to use that on any brakes I did, pretty good stuff. Permatex makes some amazing lube for brakes, that adheres to the metal very nicely, and is like butter. It would work quite well. It's vibrant purple however...lol
