Sacrilege. Every gun should be shot regardless of its value or historical significance; the only thing that should stop you is if it's mechanically unsafe to do so. You don't have to abuse it to enjoy it!

We don't know yet. There are no non-refurbed 1949's yet identified in Canada. Though some are supposedly coming - one small batch.
