I've owned many, many SKS's (about 8) and not once have I had an SKS with a headspace problem. In fact I've never heard of an SKS with a headspace problem. Just make sure you strip and clean the bolt and firing pin, and you're normally good to go.
That was helpfull.
this is very kind of u to enlighten me about head space instead of being a complete #### about it. im sure thatevery solder that was handed one of these rifles had no idea what head space is, does that mean the infantry men should not be allowed to use a firearm? think before u speak.
what's your problem ?
advising someone who asked "i have no idea what you are talking about for head space" to educate themselves earns an a**hole response ?
it is a good thing to know....for any gun owner. But please..immediately piss on the next person who try's to share knowledge...it brings us together as a community.
how people go from a piece of advice to "OMG SKS's are headspace grenades !!" is just awesome...like Faulty Towers hilarious.
Merry Christmas !
lol..ok....maybe I didn't phrase it in the most sensitive way..sorry
I remember my Dad pointing out a friend of his that had a stump for a hand...bought an old 1903 and shot it a couple hours later...never checked for headspace
but I'll think before I speak next time.
good luck out there
