im not positive but it looks like a side mount to me .

its a chinese SKS with blacken carrier .

but it's better than nothing. I agree that second riffle seemed far more dangerous.

That being said, you couldn't pay me enough to be over there. Syria is slipping into a civil war, and they tend to be pretty horrific in general, and this one seems it's going to be worse than average.

I heard the Israeli rifles have barrels that are on the heavy side - don't know if this is true or not, but allegedly they do have the 'fire breathing dragon' switch on them too.. . .

Its probably all these poor guys can get their hands on at this time. It may be a very cheap setup but I shoot on the 200 yard range at my club and get the Bullseye quite often with the same gear myself. It will still take out the opposition on the other side for sure.
