SKS Insane prices

It’s a very well made rifle and i have several. I was thinking about getting an ar-180b in 7.62x39 and then thought it wont be better than what i already have. I think if an sks was built to the same specs today it wld be 800+.

I have to agree with you. These are very sturdy and good metal was used,....not like the garbage metal used today .

Someone posted a pic of a 6-8' glass cabinet full of only SKS's.
Might of had a military or other diploma on the wall next to it.
Had to be like 30+ SKS's in the cabinet!!!
Wish I could find it again...
Beautiful Pic

When Tapco ceased production, that was probably another reason to bump up the prices ...

There's one on the EE right now, just put up.

Asking $750. Here's the really funny part: the seller has never shot the rifle. So he knows nothing about it!

And he'll take 2 normal SKS rifles, plus a few bucks, in trade. Unreal.

Cheers,
Neil

every sks i knew about was lost in a boating accident when the OIC came out.

limited supply drives up the price of everything

i dont have any qualms with sks asking different prices bcos of different countries and multi variants. eg: i will pay alot for a sks-mc with original wood thumbhole stock or a factory 26 early 60s.

but with T81 LMG bnib which are all the same fresh off the assemble line so i wish T1 lmg sellers would do a bit of research on ee before listing them $300 higher then the average lowest prices. eg: if you see 3 T81 lmg with drum asking $2000 to $2100 why bother asking $2400 or higher?

My little investment could pay off one day
1950r Russian laminate stock - all matching numbers (has a 1 on the front sight) oh baby

The number on the front sight is for easy parts fitment at the factory and has nothing to do with accuracy or anything. Some of these fairy tales just won’t die.
