OK, I have seen several varieties of front sights listed as being for "AK or SKS". And some other sights are listed as "SKS" with no mention of an AK (or just for an AK, with no mention of an SKS). Well -- either they both have the same thread size where the front sight post screws in, or they dont!!!!! If they do, then any front sight listed for an AK should fit. If not, then none of them will. Can someone confirm (or deny) which of these two things be true?
Second question/observation. This Tritium powered rear-sight sight (see pic), listed as being for an AK -- looks suspiciously like it would drop into the rear sight setup of my SKS. Can someone confirm (or deny) if this is true?
I'm looking into replacing the (nasty) iron sights on my SKS with something a little nicer (and low light friendly).
