SKS Issue

So I started having it happen where my SKS would jam (round would stove pipe so bad due to residue build up that the shell lip would break off...).. anyways, I took it apart and cleaned it up nice and it was shooting great. Then I started noticing a rough grinding or rubbing sound on it when I pull back on the handle to #### it...still cycles fine but the sound is a little strange. Sound like a warped spring catching on something or what?

Did you put the recoil spring in the right way? The wavy end goes in the bolt.

Yup, main spring is in backwards. End that is wavy goes into the back of the bolt.

Perfect ill give that a look thanks gents. I'm sure this rifle has more than a few years left.
