SKS Magwedge kwik rail

Hey zeuce,

Personally, I love what you've done. I have 2 SKS's, one modernized in an ATI folder, the other more original with only a Tech Sight and a butt pad to add to the lop. Both are great. Don't worry about the purists. They have no imagination.
 
Shoot it LOL no way!!! Why would i go to all the trouble of modding a rifle to MY tastes just to shoot it? Its a toy purely meant to take pictures of and have ignorant close minded people comment on. I never bought it to actually shoot it. I have a 65 year old wooden relic that doesnt fit comfortably in my arms and doesnt suit my shooting needs, to shoot.

That's a pity I'm dying to see what you can do with it, I was expecting a detailed range report complete with pictures LOL.
 
Thats awesome For vz owners! This rail is fawking awesome. Solves 2 issues with the sks with perfection.
 
only 20 rounds so far, but nothing has moved or came loose. ran out of daylight. scope isnt zero'd yet I need to get back out to the range and get it set up. bought a bore sight today so hopefully that makes it quicker. this is my first attempt at setting up a scope.

The rifle looks good, that magwedge rail is nice. If that was available when I was scoping my SKS I would have most likely gotten than instead of the Choate mount.
 
thought id post a pic of the rail flipped up, since I havent seen any around yet. easy access to clean the rifle. now if I can just get this scope zero'd!!! bore sight was no help my scope is out of elevation adjustment and isnt even close to the bore sight?!?!? Im a noob to all this but I think I need a different scope. sun optics tri rail tactical (solid base pic mount) 3-9X32 if anyone knows any tips or tricks.

aweeee FAWK never mind I just worked the elevation adjustment all the way up and all the way down and the crosshairs doesnt even move?!?!? scope is fuggered right out fo the box, oh well what do you expect for 85 bux LOL
