SKS Magwedge kwik rail

aweeee FAWK never mind I just worked the elevation adjustment all the way up and all the way down and the crosshairs doesnt even move?!?!? scope is fuggered right out fo the box, oh well what do you expect for 85 bux LOL

You cant expect too much thats for sure. I spent 110$ and got a Bushnell Trophy 1x28. It doesnt zoom at all but she stays zeroed, thats the key with an SKS in my opinion.

Shoot it LOL no way!!! Why would i go to all the trouble of modding a rifle to MY tastes just to shoot it? Its a toy purely meant to take pictures of and have ignorant close minded people comment on. I never bought it to actually shoot it. I have a 65 year old wooden relic that doesnt fit comfortably in my arms and doesnt suit my shooting needs, to shoot.

BAM! And it's been said with an exclamation point! lol

thought id post a pic of the rail flipped up, since I havent seen any around yet. easy access to clean the rifle. now if I can just get this scope zero'd!!! bore sight was no help my scope is out of elevation adjustment and isnt even close to the bore sight?!?!? Im a noob to all this but I think I need a different scope. sun optics tri rail tactical (solid base pic mount) 3-9X32 if anyone knows any tips or tricks.

Be careful not to let the rail assembly drop with the scope on it ....I think that might add a lot of stress with the weight of the scope on it. It wouldn't do your scope any good either!

looks like magwedge has some competition. who was the first to market I wonder? http://northprosports.com/shop/product.php?id_product=3049

Turn your SKS into a tactical rifle!

Developed by Sterling Cross Defense Systems Corp., the SD Rail enhances your SKS, enabling you to mount any sight package on to the conventional SKS

Reduce stoppages!

The built-in deflector deflects the shells away from the rifle and the shooter to reduce stove-pipes and jamming on the rifle

Accessorize your rifle!

With the included accessory rail system, you can now mount forend pistol grips, flashlights, bi-pods, laser sights and just about any accessory to your SKS

Simple and easy to clean!
:)

Sell them the rail then you can really take them to the cleaners:D

Please follow my lead and simply add Mark Williams to your ignore list. (settings page)
That way you will not even see his posts.

the only real problem i can see with having your rail also act as your deflector is, having 2 sks of my own (one tacticool and on original), noticing on both of mine how much force the shells are ejected with, i would see you not only having to do with recoil which albeit isnt too bad on an sks, but also the force of constants shells banging on your rail, potentially knocking it out of whack. That being said, rifle looks good and if your happy with it then screw that haters cause at the end of the day.... haters gonna hate.

I just love all these pictures. It kills me how our wives/girlfriends have relegated us to the basement or laundry room or garage, etc. The original post is the best, with the beautiful SKS on the washing machine!!

Lol thats where my safe is, and my bench is full. Next pic i take will be outside

Zeuce, thats a sharp rifle! I have the grey ATI Strikeforce on my 1955 SKS. May take the plunge and put the magwedge/wartak on it but for now the NCStar receiver cover I have is holding zero on mine (I did the threaded bolt modification to secure it). I have a Tasco RedDot, thats accurate out to 85 yds. Havent tested it past 85 yds but I am sure it will be good to the 100 +/- range without issues.
