Sks Markings ; Bolt Cover

Hi there,

I just got myself a SKS and I had a blast shooting it but i was looking for the maker marks on it and I noticed that there are Non on the bolt cover. No Year , No Tula Stamp . This is not a Chiense or North Korean, and I know it isn't a Yugo one.

I know pictures are probably going to be needed but i'm at work right now. Is there any chance this is a Albanian one?

I did a bit of googling but i may be looking for the wrong info.

the late russian ones didnt have markings on the cover
you should find the serial number and the factory marking on the side of the receiver

there will probably be a star stamped on the side of the receiver, indicating 1955/56 Tula.

no one can mistaken an albanian , do you have a AK cocking handle type on the carrier? if not then its not an albanian .

How do you know it's not chinese?

Check the sticky notes. If you send me serial to PM I might be able to tell you if it is Tula or Izhevsk. For sure late production. Check sticky notes might be able to figure out yourself.
