SKS modification

Now which rail should i be ordering from your site? There are 2 there. And is there some kind of special screw that I need? Or just regular taping will do? Looking at the receiver for my SKS, the plate really doesn't look that think to hold...

Now since i cant get a scope mount without an POSP scope, would this work with your rail mount?

Yes, this mount will work just perfect with either SKS Molot rail, or SKS-K rail.
Our rails come with very common 8-32 thread hex socket head screws. I can't really advise on shell deflector at this moment. We are working on our own design, but it's a long shot...

seriously, both rails are good with either of the scope types. The difference SKS rail made by Molot is about 1/2 of inch lower than SKS-K rail made by Tula. Considering that AK style scope 1/2 of inch taller than SVD style scope, the combination AK scope on SKS-K rail = higher sitting scope. Doesn't mean bad. For some people it's very convenient, especially when the rifle stock has a cheek raise. Another thing to consider, if lower SKS rail is paired with wider lens SVD style scope, e.g. POSP6x42, = scope body touches rear iron sight...however, POSP6x42B (AK style) with the same rail will clear just fine. At the same time POSP6x42 with SKS-K rail will also sit just perfect.

We are planning to bring these mounts but at this moment we don't carry VOMZ products. I believe westrifle has them: http://www.westrifle.com/opticand_4B1-1A.html
