SKS Modified To Take AK Mags. Are Any More Available?

I believe the sks-d takes ak mags, No modification. From what I've been told modding them to have a detachable mag usually ends up with feeding problems which then requires more tweaking to fix it
 
I have had a few D models over the years.
Every one was different one had an easy detachable bayonet, one had a fixed bayonet like every other model bayonet held on by screw.
The other one had no bayonet or anything to attach one, a factory modification.
There were a few other minor changes. I have a stock for a D model around here.
I wanted to see one of the rifles that West Rifle was selling to see how it was altered.
I was also interested how they worked for the buyers.
