I am looking for an SKS Monte Carlo or Tactical 3-position stock for my 1950 Russian SKS, in black composite/plastic.

It would appear that new replacement stocks are no longer vailable out of the US. Can someone please provide me with some direction as I'm having trouble finding either product in Canada.

I live in Vancouver BC, but would be willing to ship from anywhere.

Much appreciated.

Where in Vancouver do you live? I just ordered 2 stocks for an SKS from the states and will have them shipped to Point Roberts WA so I can pick them up. I'm just in Delta so it's super close and Point Roberts has small border line ups.

Try Fabsports (CGN dealer sponsor). I got my Tapco stock from Fabrice. I think he has some Monte Carlo style stocks as well.

Thanks for your link to sksman.com, but I think there may be a restriction on the import of these stocks to Canada. My only fear is that I pay for the item and then it gets stopped at the border resulting in me being out of pocket. Can someone give some further info on this as sksman.com has the stock that I'm looking for.

Thanks again guys, I really appreciate all of the feedback being a newbie and all.

you have a very good reason to be cautious when importing gun parts but as far as i know these stocks are american made (not norinco) and under $100 so you do not need to have an import/export permit , i pretty sure you are good to go .

but i will say please read legalese section on importing gun parts before you order .

Curtton,

Thanks for your offer and the update. I'm new to all of this so I'm just getting my feet wet on the can and can not of collecting. I certainly appreciate the advice and I'm looking forward to future purchases through such a great group of people.

Thanks again.
