SKS/Mosin differences, which one to buy?

I'd start with an SKS then grab a Mosin. but then you want a 12 gauge pump and a 22 also. LOL .

Are you aware the SVT-40 is also a Russian milsurp. Semi auto so recoil is managed with the full size cartridge.

With the Mosin, look in the muzzle to make sure there is rifling. Some have been drilled out (counter-bored) and the last few inches of rifling is missing. No point in buying one of those when better ones are around.
