Our local CTC Clayton Park have a huge selection of sks, mosin, and svt-40. Also they have Russian and Czech 7.62x39 ammo and x54 ammo! They just brought in a huge supply of ammo and firearms including the above mentioned! He has the Czech ammo crates priced a bit high, said he wants to sell the stripperclips individually at around $5. The Russian is $289 a crate of 1440! SVT's look nice and mosins are fantastic!

Must be nice. My CT doesn't sell firearms, and even if they did, the service is so crummy you'd never find anybody to sell you one.

This guy is committed to having a great sporting goods/gun section! he hired a guy to take care of firearms/ammo/sports and most of his staff in that section are getting their pal paid for by the store!

Jeez, I could only dream of the same selection at my CTC. I live in the north end of Mississauga I doubt there are many hunters, let alone shooters. Our only local selection is Le Baron or Sail in Mississauga. Good thing Al Flaherty's is only 30 mins away!!

One of our local CT's in Winnipeg is really getting into the act as well, same story, seems to be a gun guy dedicated to that section. Full load out of Red rifles, 91/30, mosin sniper, M44, SKS and SVT. Also they're now stocking Suomi, those Pietta 22 sub gun look alikes and M305 shorties, as well as a fair selection of tactical shotguns including multiple versions of the Mossberg 590A1. Full selection of K31, K11 and Kar98 too. Ammo in stock for everything on the shelves.
I'll be visiting there often, nice to have another decent dealer in town. Prices are not the cheapest, but border on what it would cost to order online and have shipped.

One more note, and possibly what impressed me the most, while I was oogling the gun cases they announced over the PA system 'check out our new hunting and shooting department, if you don't see the gun you're looking for talk to our sales staff and WE'LL ORDER IT IN FOR YOU!'

I remember a few days ago someone said the army navy surplus store has a crate of nice mosins in for $160, I'm in Antigonish till next week so I hope they don't sell out !

I bought a 1922 hex from A&N just because it was a hex, you get nothing but the bayo with it and at the store I couldn't see the bore very well but when I got it home and cleaned up a bit she had pitting about 4 inches from the muzzle for about 4"! The ones at ctc are fantastic! When I get home in a week I will be helping them put info tags on each one so you have an easier time looking them over and I will be checking out the bores too!

Hmm well if thats the case perhaps I will head to CT. I just finished my final essay for my History of the U.S.S.R. class, and I feel that I earned a nice Soviet gift from myself lol.

He has a crate plus more and the stocks annd bluing of the ones I saw were fantastic! svt's were nice too as they had some naval/avt stocks!

I was the one that mentioned it on a other thread. I paid 160$ each for a all matching (as in no force matching) 1922 Izhevsk and a 1928 (1921 Tula receiver) Izhevsk with matching Bayonets and cleaning kits. The bores looked pretty good on the two I got.
I was at the CTC the other day and they want 200$ each for there Mosins and they were all round (from what I could tell, didn't look to hard at them) receivers with red lettering.

Guess I got ripped! ;0) Maybe we can talk ctc into matching a.n.'s price!! If a lot of people mention that they Have $160 mosins it very well could happen!
