I actually really enjoy his videos. I find that once you get used to the amount of talking he does, there is some very detailed information in his vids that you can't find anywhere else.

Yeah, he's just a guy with good trigger time sharing his opinions, impressions and ideology - most always tap out before he's finished. I rather have his channel around for a time filler than be staring at the wall.

I usually tap out before it's over too. He does have a lot of trigger time, and if you're interested in the subject matter, the detail is appreciated. I envy the scenery and the freedoms they have in utah to shoot whatever/wherever.

He only reviews tacticooled AK's,AR's & commercial poly-pistols. Hint hint, he is running a profitable part time business.

Drawbacks: "unboxing" has become a pox on youtube.

He NEVER reviews British or French surplus firearms. More generally, he does not like reviewing surplus firearms unless it's somehow linked to the USSR or WWII Germany.

His nasal voice delivery

Over all he strikes me a as a nice sort of chap, so I will give him the respect he is due as an LT even if he is a tanker pilot / flyboy.

He has reviewed it. He's of that generation that were so "anti Commie" that he has to really stretch to appreciate a Russian firearm. He goes on and on and on at how little he paid for it, then gives if a mediocre rating. Hickok is over-rated and biased.
