SKS Officially Declared A Hunting Rifle

Hunting rifle or not, they are worth $150.00. Sorry, anyone who would pay $650.00, or even $750.00 for a minute of 4'X8' plywood sheet is a fool.

Let the SKS lovers go crazy with my comment, no worries.

At the end of it all, she's still about $150.00.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Your opinion does not count. The market is all. I bought a house in Windsor for 148000$ in 2008 and sold in 2022 for near 700000$. For me was a house worth of 148000$, but the market was heaving a different opinion.

Tell me you’re a horrible shot without telling me you’re a horrible shot.

A little tweaking goes a long way. Polish the sear. Buy a trigger spring kit. Replace the rear sight with a small mount and put on a fastfire3.

They are a bit inconsistent. As a wiser man once said it's like their assembled by the high school shop class. Don't get one made on a Monday or Friday. Buy 4. Keep the best shooter and sell the other 3.

I've ground off the bayonette on one. Didn't hurt it. Bayonette though is surprising useful for picking up litter.

I have a Russian and a Chinese sks, wife and I can hit 12" gong at 220 yds 3 out of 5 times with the iron sites, sounds pretty good to me for a 100 yd deer rifle.

If we could only go back in time before covid.
And stock up on lumber, used cars and SKSs. We'd be able to retire on the profits today ;)

In general, the SKS is a good rifle all around.

That being said, just because one official made a vague statement regarding the SKS not being prohibited, that does not mean we are out of the woods yet.

In fact, you can bet that if the next federal government is any other than PC, kiss the SKS (and a lot more) goodbye.

Yes I know they shoot okay, and I knew my comment would bother a few snow-flakes, and that's okay.

My point is this, since the Covid 19 Scam (largest wealth transfer in the world), everything has skyrocketed to double, triple, and even quadruple of what they cost before the scam.

I understand supply and demand perfectly well, but it doesn't make our current situation right or acceptable.

If people want to pay $750.00 for a $150.00 SKS, fill your boots. The fellow that stated he sold his $140,000.00 house for $700,000.00 did well. Is his house worth $700,000.00, probably not. But Realtor Greed, Covid 19, corrupt Governments, and United Nations 2030 Agenda is changing virtually everything.

I completely understand some folks will pay these ridiculous prices for guns, boats, UTV's, campers, ATV's, real estate, among other things. My wife and I paid way too much for our new Polaris Ranger, but we needed it for firewood hauling, acreage work, snowplowing, and recreational hunting. So we too got duped into this whole supply and demand stunt the corrupt Liberals have implemented.

I do not see Canada, or any other place getting better to live, eat decent food, or just survive these days. Guns will never become less expensive, so yes I get it. I just never saw the desire to pay over $500.00 for a SKS rifle.

Will I pay this for an AR-15 once they are non-restricted again? Probably.

When the government states you do not need an AR-15 or similar platform, you definitely need an AR-15!......:)

litterally fudd lore

That post just got better and better, love seeing the SKS out in its natural environment! Fields of posies, British Columbia, right on! Also funny to see a Call of the Wild reference in there, using it in that game makes me want to take mine out doing what it was very obviously designed for, hunting!

No....infact what she said was, " IT would cause HARDSHIP on the indigenous Peoples to prohibit the sks, as they use it for hunting and substance" . These are HER words. I watched on CBC news.
